I feel there was a burn-in, wasn't enjoying the sound as much out of the box, compared to now. The sound is much more complete now.

absolutely loving the KZ ASX paired with LG V40(with shure impedance adapter)... don't have much to compare, just the ATH-IM02... I've had the ASX for 3 days now and the sound finally opened up yesterday (I think the drivers have burned-in pretty well by now), make sure you have a good fit...

Just reporting in.. I installed the Pioneer DEH‑80PRS in my car and plugged in the LG V20 via Aux with the Shure impedance adapter(enables high impedance mode on the V20) and it sounds stunning. Rich, powerful and detailed sound. Go Pioneer and LG!

does the M1060 really sound as good as LCD3 or is it on par with something like an HE-400?

can the HD10 be in the same class (sound quality wise) as the JVC SW01 and Sony MDR-Z7 ?

LG G6 will have an improved version of the V20 DAC. Hopefully it becomes available in the US...

I just ordered the SW01 last night. I didnt see any real reviews for it, and I bet they're ridiculously good. They should arrive on the 27th. Someone mentioned the SW01 is like a DT1350. Im hoping they are a speaker-like version of the FX series.

oh yeah, forgot to mention that there is an aux mode (which amplifies the sound in the LG V10) that can be enabled by connecting an aux cable, then connecting the FX1100.

the FX1100 really needs to be paired with a source that includes a high end DAC chip. For example, the LG V10 smartphone. This phone actually has an amp built-in as well! My search for the perfect sound has come to a screeching halt.
