How to keep from ruining your IEM's with sweat ... when working out or playing on stage?

I may start doing the bandana/headband thing actually.    The IEMs I use are Fisher remolded UE Triplefi10.  I also just got some Westone4 IEMs remolded.  I am going to use those strictly for iPod type listening off stage though I think.

How to keep from ruining your IEM's with sweat ... when working out or playing on stage?

I play drums and sweat non-stop while playing.  I regularly wear IEMs.  I'm always thinking I could ruin them with one drop of sweat dropping in the "hole" where the drivers reside (many brands do not have filters). Any thoughts, experience, tips on keep the insides of your IEMs dry?  This...

What to do? -- Westone 4 IEM right side no sound. Reshell??

Yeah, true, but if they are not gone (all 4 at once?) Then maybe just one can be replaced and I'll be back up and running.  Hoping it is only a wire that broke or something easy.  Won't know unless I try, right? -Eric

What to do? -- Westone 4 IEM right side no sound. Reshell??

No, it's nothing simple.  I even had our sound engineer, who is like a sound/cable/solder/mixer GENIUS look at them, and still no love :(

What to do? -- Westone 4 IEM right side no sound. Reshell??

So, I have had these IEMs for about 9 months.  Got them from an unauthorized reseller on Amazon, (yeah, I know...never again).  Anyway, from what I'm reading, Westone isn't going to touch these things without an authorized receipt.  Anyway, I have not used them much at all.  The right side is...

You think they'll repair them for me? (Westone) If I have to pay, are they reasonable or high on their repairs??   Thanks!

PLEASE help! Westone 4, right side not working!

These are 5 months old.  Right side went out last night.  Got them from Amazon through a third party.  Think the warranty is in effect?  Will Westone help me if needed?   I have a suspicion about what caused this: What do you all do with your IEMs (no matter what type) ---  (those that...

    Westone ES5

So for the ES5, everyone just pays the MSRP of $950, or do they sell for lower, and the price just depends on what the local dealer wants to charge?    For example, you can check Westone's site for the universal ones and the MSRP is a certain price, but you go to Amazon, etc. and can find...

InEarZ (Fisher Hearing) Custom Remold Owner's Thread

Did my own impressions with materials ordered from Westone hearing on-line. Shipped impressions and triple-fi10 to Fisher on Jan 24th. Got the call they were completed and need to pay on Feb 16th.  Also was informed my first choice of black cable was out of stock but they had all the other...

Is it bad idea to do your own impressions? (for re-shell with Fisher)

I am thinking of ordering the silicone material, ear damns and syringe from westone and doing them myself.  (all materials for doing about 10 ears is about $30) have buddies that may be able to make use of the extra material also.   Has anyone done this themselves?  I just am having trouble...
