Is there still a song limit on a 5G or 5.5G iPod with rockbox? Or is it only for the OF?- Mi3zu

VSonic VSD1/VSD1S Reviews/Impression Thread
How do these compare with the Sony XBA-1? I'm mostly thinking about xba1 vs vsd1s. Mostly listening to rock/jazz/funk/blues.- Mi3zu

The eternal 100$ question yet again
Hello, Welcome to another iteration of the 100$ question. Basically I'm looking for some replacements for my HD428's. They are kinda wearing down and I don't know how much they will hang on in there. I previously had some (partially faulty) SR60's that I loved anyway. I mostly listen to...- Mi3zu

Audio Format
Read a bit more on it after I posted. I got another encoder and aac converted properly as well but I decided to go with Opus in the end for the same reasons you stated above. It's converting everything atm so probably tommorow I'll have a listen. I went with 64kpbs Opus it sounded decent on the...- Mi3zu

Audio Format
Hello, Basically I'm looking for the best audio format at low bitrates (~96kbps). I need these to store my music collection on a portable player. So far I've been using ogg and I might need to go to q2 to satisfy the space requirements. I've read on the internet about opus and he-aac...- Mi3zu

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret
Oh I didn't realize it's worldwide shipping, my bad EDIT: On a more thorough listen even if I press that button the balance is still towards the left earphone, the right one is noticeably quieter. Will this go away if I get the adapter or is it simply a defective unit?- Mi3zu

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret
I just got these for 8$. Problem is they're the old MH1 omtp model and they don't work with my phone. If I press the middle button the bass comes back into the right earphone otherwise it's non existent. My question is if there's any diy guide for those adapters I can't seem to find any that...- Mi3zu

Romania. We have an official reseller but they're about 120$ shipped. We're in 2013 I don't understand why we have to pay 50% more for something just because we're not in the us Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4- Mi3zu

Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.
Is the rockbox for 6G stable? I mean I know it's harder to install and it's mostly a bigger hack than rockbox itself but is it remotely stable? Anyone used it for extended periods of time? I got a 70$ deal for a 160GB 6th gen but there's no way I'm buying it without rockbox.- Mi3zu

Recommendation for 100$ DAP
Oh it's already rockboxed. I think it might be the microsd or the microsd slot since it freezes and after a hard reboot and reinserting the card it works again for a while. But it only happens while it's in my pocket. I was thinking about another clip but wanted to try something new for a...- Mi3zu

Recommendation for 100$ DAP
Hi, I'm looking for a replacement for my Clip Zip which is starting to fail me with random stops and restarts. I'm looking for something around the 100$ price tag that's available worldwide. It should be able to play the usual audio formats I don't need video at all it would be nice if I...- Mi3zu

Headphones recommendation
Since there's no huge review thread here like in the portable section I have to ask what are the best cans that I can get for under 100. I mostly listen to rock ( not metal ) and jazz and a little bit of every other genre but with an emphasis on those 2. I had some sr60's a while back and I now...- Mi3zu

Is there any alternative to SR60/80/Allessandro MS1 in the 100$ price range? Especially for someone from Europe? They can be a bit hard to snatch for a decent price around here.- Mi3zu

I am looking for a pair of headphones in the 50$-100$ price range. I had some Grado's a while ago and fell in love with the sound but they broke down on me. Since I couldn't get some others I got a pair of Sennheisers HD428 from a local retailer. I have to say that these sound completely...- Mi3zu

Under 50$ IEM's
Hello, I have been an avid user of IEM's for about 2-3 years now. I've gone through some low-end Sennheisers as well as a few Meelectronics models, as well as some random locally found IEM's. Now I'm interested in a pair of under 50$ IEM's which I can find on a site with international...- Mi3zu

IEM's under 35$
I'm not sure about the Brainwavz Beta they look good and all but they seem to lack a lot of sound with the semi-open design. Can anyone tell me if they leak more than normal IEM's? And I'd also use the headphones on the bus everyday so I think I need more isolation. Sadly, the CKM50's are...- Mi3zu

IEM's under 35$
Ok, I've done a bit of research and I came up with these 3 options. 1. Brainwavz M1 - Main problem here would be that I can only preorder the M1's and I can't really wait a lot because my current IEM's broke 2. Soundmagic PL30 - These seem nice, and are a bit cheaper at 22$ 3. Thermaltake...- Mi3zu
