What is the difference between both of these?

I am seriously thinking about the 900's.  I am wondering how they compare to the ATH M50.  There is a big price difference and I wonder if they are worth it.

Thanks for the response.  I love my M50, I have no compliants with them at all.  They sound great with the electronic music I listen to, but I am curious.  Are the 900s worth the extra money?   They are like $200 to $250 more than the M50.  Is there just a very small improvement from the M50? ...

I am pleased with my M50, but I am curious about the 900.  Can anyone who has heard both give me a comparison?  There is a significant price difference between the 2.  I am wondering if the pro 900 is worth it over the M50.  I listen to mainly tech house, progressive music.  Thanks.

Thanks for all the comments guys, but I think I will be selling the HD650.  They sound nice and reveal a lot of detail but I think I will prefer a different sound signature with the type of music I listen to.  I don't want to keep playing with it anymore to get it to sound the way I want.

I also thought the DT700 would have plenty of bass, but trust me, off of the setup I was listening to them through, the bass was very recessed.  Both my HD650 and M50 have a TON more bass.

Well guys I wanted to report back.  I have been using my HD650 using my uDac.  It has made a HUGE difference, the HD650's sound very very very nice now.  The difference is very noticible from using the crappy laptop dac to the udac, not a small placebo type thing.  The HD650s reveal a lot more...

Definetly stick with closed headphones for work.  I got my M50s for work to use out of my ipod, and they are great.  I really like the way they sound and they isolate pretty well, but do leak a little at higher volumes.  I feel I made a good purchase for the money.
