ATH-AD900 vs ATH-AD700 vs something else
I'm currently using Yuin G2A with my laptop and even though I like the sound, I hate the fact that they are clip-ons, discomfortable and to be honest, I feel that they don't exactly fulfill my expectations. So, I've decided to get something else. It's been weeks now since I started to read...- katabatik

Are the Audio Technica ATH-AD700 a good buy at this price?
Thanks for the suggestion, but there is the warranty issue and with customs duties it would become as expensive as in Europe.- katabatik

Are the Audio Technica ATH-AD700 a good buy at this price?
Hi After reading literally hundreds of posts and opinions on the foruns and dozen of reviews on the net, I thought I would settle with the ATH-AD700. One of the reasons was the good price/performance ratio. However, I found out that here in Europe there is no way I can buy them for less...- katabatik

Foobar2000 vs Winamp

Headphones for computer audio + movies under 100 Euros
Hi I've asked a similar question before, but after a lot of reading, I though I should be more specific. There are so many options and so many opinions that it is hard to decide. Anyway, here it goes. Requirements: - Comfort: i'll be using them for extended periods. Where I live...- katabatik

Foobar2000 vs Winamp
Hi I've been using Winamp for a long time, but I decided to try Foobar2000. I always thought that the sound quality was independent of the player, everything else being equal. However, WinAmp and Foobar sound different. I always used Winamp without any EQ and now I'm listening to...- katabatik

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
Headphones for movies and music in laptop Hi I'm looking for some decent sounding headphones to use with my laptop. I'll mainly use them to listen to music (mainly solo piano, classical and jazz) and movies (about 70% music and 30% movies). I also game occasionally. I'll use them at...- katabatik

Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
That is one of my dislikes of the PFE: the short cable. When I use them with my player in one of my trouser's pockets, they are almost completely streched.- katabatik

"How to" - Best custom tips for IEMs ever. IMHO. with pics
EarSoft FX. Very comfortable and very high attenuation across the frequency range. £3.99 + shipping for 30 pairs on eBay. I've been using them for years in noisy environments. Now I found out they also fit my phones.- katabatik

Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
I just made my own foams and they isolate as well as Comply's and are more comfortable. I used EarSoft FX ear plugs. They are made for wear in noisy industries and have a very high SNR at all frequencies. I use them when I go camping and they are comfortable enough to wear all night and...- katabatik

Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
I'll certainly try it. You can get 100 pairs of regular noise blocking foams for less than the cost of 3 pairs of Complys. Just go to a safety equipment supplier. They sell them by the hundreds. It's very cheap.- katabatik

Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
Don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but since there are so many PFE owners in this thread... Are there any cheaper alternatives for Comply foam tips for the PFE? Cowon D2+ stock phones vs Phonak PFE
By no means do I intend to question piotrus-g experience, but I always thought that if a sound equipment sounds inherently better than another, then you will notice it from the very first minute, not after your ears start to get used to its sound. At least that was what happened when I changed...- katabatik

Cowon D2+ stock phones vs Phonak PFE
Since everyone seems to agree that this is an isolation issue and since I tried all of the tips that came with the PFE, are there any other tips that are compatible with Phonak PFE? Any recommendations? Thank you.- katabatik

Cowon D2+ stock phones vs Phonak PFE
I just got my Cowon D2+ and my Phonak PFEs today. I put some MP3 on the D2+ that ranged from female jazz vocals to classical mussic, with some pop/rock and acoutic guitars in between. There was no EQ and all sound effects where turned off. Then I decided to compare the iAudio earphones that came...- katabatik

Phonak Audeo PFE vs. Sennheiser IE8
Sorry to bump this thread, but I think it is pointless to create a new one for the same subject. After much reading in search of an IEM, I've come down to IE8 vs PFE. I read the whole 10 pages of this thread but still haven't decided yet. I'll be using a Cowon D2+ unamped and listening...- katabatik

The price seems very good. Are they authorized dealers? I can't seem to find a list of authorized dealers on the Sennheiser website. Thanks.- katabatik
