Just to finish this thread, I was fortunate enough to purchase a Markl MD-5000 fitted with Jenna cables from a fellow UK headfier Markymark, do not think there's many Markl modded Denons in the uk, so think I was lucky, have had the phones for approx. one month now and can wholeheartedly say...- Mannymax

LA7000 owners, What type of music do you listen to?

Well, if headphone drivers are the same as loud speaker drivers, which i suspect they are, if you run yours speakers through a low powered amp, increase the volume until the drivers begin to distort and clip, prolonged periods of distortion/clipping will damage the drivers, however, if your amp...- Mannymax
