Are head-fiers "fun" or "analytical"?
Also, if you like "fun" IEM's do you like warm, bass oriented iems such as the Klipsch Image x10 and Atrio futuresonic a5 and a8? or Do you prefer the good treble of IEM's like the Klipsch image x10 and triple.fi 10 pro? Im confused, i wouldnt say X10s were trebly??- doomlordis

Westone 3 are soooo overated
I actually posted this to prove that a W3 thread will do a ton at the moment when other threads are simply ignored, your all W3 daft. I was disappointed by them though, probably need a few more dayys to get used to the new signature.- doomlordis

Overated and Underated
Let us know what earphone you think is the most overated and which is the most underated (and why if you want). Overated = Shure SE530 (i think they are badly balanced + coloured) Underated = Klipsch Custom 1 - (better than most i have tried at the same price imo)- doomlordis

Sony Walkman NWZ-X1000 (UK out NOW, US version out mid-June)
noise cancelling will not be independent of headphones , all they mean is that the x1000 powers the phones. Stuff mag says x1000 can record tv straight from bravias!!- doomlordis

Klipsch Custom 3 Review
I have the custom 1s and 2s (liked the 1 so bought the 2), it took me 2 days to find a good seal and as said above the plastic moulds were causing the issue, if not fitted properly they will push or pull them slowly out and the bass will be reduced. Get them fitted over the ear correctly (it...- doomlordis

Vinyl to DVD-A Transfer. LP to DVD Audio 24bit 192kHz
The ONLY reason to rip Vinyl is if the master is superior to its redbook equivilent. DVD-A is overkill, i think its funny that so many posters here think that the sample rate of CD creates some sort of join the dots waveform that has massive gaps that will have audible artifacts and Vinyl has...- doomlordis

Vinyl-quality sound on the go
All you need is an mp3 player ,a pocket radio and 2 pairs of headphones. Put one ear bud from the mp3 player in one ear and one from the radio in the other, play a song on the mp3 player and tune the radio to some mild distortion, job done.- doomlordis

Are we kidding ourselves?
My Home set up is pretty basic, a CD63 , Rotel 04 amp , cambridge ipod dock , Sony 940 minidisc deck , speakers are Q Acoustic 1050i. This weekend my friend brought around his new toys, a new dacmagic and a Azur 740c cd player. We set them up in turn and had a nice long listen. I was...- doomlordis

Klipsch Custom-1 review
Not many reviews of this about so i thought i would do a quick one. I compared it to Sony EX75SL, Shure se210 , Yuin PK3 and a pair of JVC air cushions. I have better headphones but these are my in-ears. BUILD QUALITY Very very good imo, great fabric cables, the bendable ear arch is...- doomlordis

iPod Touch & Sound Quality -- Thoughts?
I have tested the 1g and 2g touch against the so called giant killer sansa clip and the 2g is very close in sq to the clip with it being more neutral and less glamorous sounding (i think the clip is coloured). 1g is not as good and hisses a bit with my custom-2s. i dont think anyone should be...- doomlordis

Is there any point to the ipod touch?
It is a great gadget for commuters, i travel 3 hrs a day andi watch films/tv shows , listen to music and stagecoach now has free wifi on board ,i surf and play games , so to me it is totally amazing. BUT i still prefer my Sansa Clip for music playback as the 1g touch hisses through my custom-1s.- doomlordis
