SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

Hello again guys, I received my Sony 1000XM3 yesterday and I decided to share my initial thoughts here. First of all, I'll write some background: In the past, I had Sony 1000X for one month and then sold it. Because its bass was very bad and any bass increase with EQ was always resulted with...

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

Could you please post the latest photos with Dekoni leather V6's? I really wonder the difference? Is this the one you used, right?: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYTR4ZF If so, then this shoul be Brainwavz alternative: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FSPNJH6 BTW, do you think...

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

Does also clear bass setting without other EQ behave same way and makes the cans switch to SBC? If so, this makes the app useless for me. My 1000xm3 is on the way and will be in my hands in a few days. I can't wait to listen my favorite music on 1000xm3 :) BTW, Really nice modding posts...

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

I really like real leather touch of my P7W and I would love to try these on XM3's which I ordered. I've just had a look Dekoni sheepskin listings on Amazon, but I saw a few different types. Could you please share the link the one that you are using...

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

Hello guys, Questions to P7 Wireless owners or ex-owners: I love my P7 Wireless headphone's sound signature, which is really lively and joyful instead of being more balanced as PX series. I bought a pair of PX but returned since I never like their sound which was so boring and boxed vs P7W's...

But I'll still need a global EQ for streaming like Tidal Lossless which I use so often. I would really appriciate if you could try Sony EQ it for me :) If no, still np. Thanks anyway for sharing your experiences which helped me so much! I'm on the edge for ordering a pair of Sony cans.

Thank you all guys for your responses! I really appreciated! @Sonic Defender, If Sony App gives same result, then I would really use it as a global tuning that all applications can take advantage of. Did you also tried the EQ on Sony App. Does it give same good sound as you get with Onkyo HF...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

I found that gluing PX around the ears fixes the perfect positioning and maximizes its sound quality. Trust me, when you do this you will definitely stop blaming PX design (seal, pads or whatever), no longer need to cut your hair daily and you can wear your glasses as you do before. I hope...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

One of the reasons why I returned PX was its inability to hold its position while moving. It was nearly impossible having a stable positioning and SQ with these headphones while commuting and vehicle causes some small shakes. I was finding myself trying to reposition PX so much times and this is...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

I think you guys are missing a point. You need to use another headphone (preferably, the best one you can have or find) as a reference and make a side by side comparison. Otherwise a "brain burn in" will be unavoidable. Human brain is perfect for adapting things including sounds. Yes you're...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

I have P7W and had 1000x before. You have the best of both worlds (I mean SQ and ANC) with your current setup. This is exactly what I've experienced with PX. Burn in doesn't make a magic, it doesn't turn a caterpillar to a butterfly. It only changes sound just a little bit...

No tube effect on P7W. You can feel differentiate it when you compare P7W and PX side by side.I can't comment on how aptx HD changed sound since PX is sounding really different than P7W even while both are working with aptX. I tested almost all leading bluetooth Headphones, like QC35, Senns and...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

The gap between PX and P7W is smaller even after 10hours of burn in. But I still prefer P7W. I think I'll make my decision after 50hours of burn in. Please note that I'm not using PX for my daily usage to keep my brain burned in. I just compare side by side PX and P7W, with same sources and...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

I just tested this with my 10 hours burned-in PX. I'm pretty sure that ANC decreases bass amount and its punchiness for my mears. I prefer ANC off for better SQ and better bass response.

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

Which one do you enjoy?: Same sound you described before (called as brain burn in = by getting used to the sound character) or a changed sound after even more driver burn-in? Do you still hear same "tube effect"?

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

I received my pair of B&W PX yesterday. It came with latest firmware. Here are my initial impressions: First thing is first, the Sound Quality: Out of the box, it sounded so bad as almost everyone in this thread said. I tested PX (ANC always off) with my LG V20 which has APT-X HD for bluetooth...

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless - Impressions Thread

Interesting, again... This review defines the bass as "deep" on PX but almost everyone on PX thread on head-fi say PX has "tight" (conrolled) bass and it isn't deep as P7'. TBH, I would be a lot happier with an headphone as you described since I mostly listen soft rock and pop music and...
