I am looking for a cheap way to record guitar demo's, ideas and such while I am away from the computer. I want something without a lot of setup time so I can record ideas quickly. Currently I am thinking about a minidisc. Does that seem like the best idea or are the more effective alternatives...

I just got a copy of this LP and have noticed that the side labeled II is the beginning of the song (at least the beginning according to the lyrics). Is this supposed to be? Am I supposed to start listening in the middle of the song?

I just found a turntable (probably made around in 70's) it is a united audio turntable and the only other thing is says is "Dual 1228" and the cartridge says "XP 3 Grado" looks much like this However it stopped working and now it won't spin. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it.
