    Havi B3 Pro-1 Impressions Thread

In my opinion you'll enjoy these just fine. I think one of the strengths of this IEM is their ability to scale incredibly well with superior hardware, but that is not to say they sound bad with ordinary sources. I still think they sound great out of my Nexus 5 all the same. I'm sure they could...

    Havi B3 Pro-1 Impressions Thread

Just dropping in to say I bought the Havi B3 Pro-1 after extensively scouring for hundreds of pages every post that compared and talked about the B3 and the Ostry KC06. Very satisfied with my purchase. As others have said, this IEM is extremely fit dependent. I have found that after swapping in...

The Portable BASS kings..The Pioneer HDJ500 vs AKG 518 LE vs The first look at the new AT WS55 Solid Bass

Just popping in to say I picked up a pair of WS55's today for $61 new, and gotta say, I'm loving em. Saw the price and couldn't hold back. The bass is just as has been described by several others previously. Deep, punchy, powerful, but only when it's there. It's presence is not prominent at all...

Gaming: ATH-A900 worth over ATH-A700? (Soundstage)

In terms of comfort, size etc. the two are pretty much the same. As for sound quality, I'm probably not qualified enough to make a serious judgement between the two, but I'm guessing based on gaming alone, the difference in audio quality won't be that significant, or at least not enough to...

    Etymotic mc-series (moving-coil based IEMs)

Heres another article of them Etymotic mc3 moving coil headset brings down the price of quality | DVICE (p.s. lol, look out for the uniformed comment at the end of that article) $100 doesn't sound too shabby, wonder what qualified people have to say about them when they actually come out...

Audio Technica A700 or Sony XB700?

I don't recall jumping to any conclusion. :P The other guy said the XB700 is super comfortable, so I'm asking him if he would recommend it over the A700. thats all

Audio Technica A700 or Sony XB700?

So you would recommend XB700 over A700?

Audio Technica A700 or Sony XB700?

Looking for a cheap fullsize closed set of cans. The A700 and XB700 are both pretty affordable but I can't really chose between them. People say that they both have recessed mids and some powerful bass so I'm assuming sound signature is somewhat similar? Anyhow I won't be listening to either...

Is the A700 that much better than the ES7?

I was going for a closed portable headphone in the ES7, but I can also get the A700 for not much more. I was just wondering how much better sounding the A700's are compared to the ES7's, if it even is. Upgrading to the ES7 is already a little modest so would it be a better idea to just go...

    IEMs in Hong Kong

It really depends where you go. Digital Square at Langham Mong Kok offers great prices. I got my ATH-CKS70 there for under 65 USD. Use www.price.com.hk to find the product you want, and it will list places that have it, including its listing price. e.g. here is the page for the cks70...

Closed back portable headphones on par or superior to portapros?

Need something moderately cheap for casual listening that I can take around outside. I have the Portapro but because its open back it is pretty much garbage on travel. Don't feel like getting IEMs because I'm under the impression that to get sound on par with a $30 portable headphone like the...

    Fake ATH A700's?

They are the same. I believe the black one is a limited edition? But yeah, definitely the same. The listing prices are different by about $10, but the original listing price of $299 is the same for both.
