I find the EMU 0404 quite compelling, it has a decent software bundle, but the drivers are what they are. And I do not know how well it will work with Audigy 2. On the other hand it will be 10.11 until I can order ESI Juli@ from thomann.de. So I would have 0404 in my hands sooner... Tough call...
