Student Wears Raw Denim Nudie Jeans for 15 months Without Washing
Currently wearing jeans that I own 6 months and they still don't know what a washing machine is. Indeed standard practice in raw denim, 6 months at least is recommended, and even then, don't give them a full wash, just a cold handwash to remove some indigo. Some wash the excessive indigo out...- Le Le

Scary Mystery - Thousands of Black Bird die in flight and fall to the ground
Omg. You actually are afraid aren't you? Let me try to take away that fear. I didn't see a few dozen dead fish. I saw a few thousand. And then, I didn't listen to the government, because I don't need them to explain that die offs are a part of the ecological equilibrium. It's what happens when...- Le Le

Scary Mystery - Thousands of Black Bird die in flight and fall to the ground
Ok, so the whole La Brenne Fish massacre sarcasm didn't do it for you? Even though it was completely true? Need more facts? People who believe in conspiracy theories have a significantly larger fear-center in their brains (just like people who vote right-winged btw). This means that when you...- Le Le

Scary Mystery - Thousands of Black Bird die in flight and fall to the ground
Hmm. 6 years ago on holiday in France, all the lakes were covered with dead fish. It was, very cheesy, called the land of 1000 lakes or something to that extent, and most of the lakes looked white from all the dead fish. Easily a million. Maybe you could add the La Brenne fish massacre to list...- Le Le

Steven Wilson - the hypocrite....
IpodPJ beat me to it. You can't say "iPods ruined everything", only to bring out an apple-app. Makes you look like an a$$ @Murray l'art pour l'art is way behind us. -
Steven Wilson - the hypocrite....
He's pathetic, desperate to pull of some hipster-alternative-I-don't-care-about-anyone show every change he gets. Or creates, if there's none at hand. I throw up a little in my mouth every time I hear his music. The guy redefines pretentiousness. He has made some bloody good music though... -
Documentary on Music Piracy
We got Spotify a few days ago in the Netherlands. So there was an artikel about it in the newspaper. Apparently Lady Gaga recieved $126 for 1.000.000 plays of, I don't know, one of her crappy excuses for music. So far for no stealing. That, and you don't own, you pay for the right to play...- Le Le

At first I cried a little, but it is quite funny actually. In a disturbing way. Like Egyptian Gods.- Le Le

HTC HD2 or Nexus One as a mp3 player.
Own a HD 2 since yesterday, and I quite like it, even the speaker is more than the standard noisemaker. Haven't used it much yet, but the UI is pleasant, the hiss is less than on walkman X1060 (not ahrd to beat that) and I got an 8gb card with it so this might be the first phone I'm gonna use as...- Le Le

More noise = less talk = more beer. I hate it too, but none of my friends care. Get drunk fast and ignore it- Le Le

There is a small change Valleys of Neptune will not be the best album of the year, but at least the most special, looking forward to buying it, tomorrow Hope Portishead finds a way to release their fourth album, and that it will be as good as their previous 3 Nice thread btw, keep it alive -
inglourious basterds, how is this nominated for an oscar?
I hate movies. I loved IB. Effin' funny, brilliant dialog, and together with Schindlers List the only movie that didn't either bore or annoy me so much it made me want to kill myself. (everything John Cleese excluded of course) Didn't go to see LOTR 3 because I fell asleep watching 2, walked out...- Le Le

Amsterdam trip
Yesterday I walked into a toilet in a small town, and was both offered drugs and asked if I had some. That is our country, and it doesn't bother me. That Amsterdam is known for drugs and sex doesn't mean it has nothing else to offer. It is a nice city- Le Le

Amsterdam trip
Amsterdam >>> rest of the Netherlands. (I can know, I study there) The only city in this country where interesting things happen, or even just "things", the rest is 1 big village. Of course, stay away from the Kalverstraat, that's all.- Le Le

4'33". Is it music?
@Userlander: The other night, I was honestly wondering, what if Britney Spears (aka BS) would include a track of silence on her latest, ever so brilliant album, would that ruin the (experience for those who (claim to) appreciate) silence? That is what bothers me most about this whole... -
4'33". Is it music?
Hmm, only when you try to discuss something interesting you notice how bad your English really is :$ (If you're from Vlaanderen it would safe us some of that trouble) I think your (and his apparently, didn't know that, thanks) reference to Rauschenberg says it all. I called it art for people... -
Lounge Music
James Pants: Welcome Got a promo free with some shirts, I know that sounds lame, but it's relaxing music taken to the next level. I always fail in recommending 1 or 2 songs, just youtube your way through it (maybe start with Cosmic Rapp or Crystal Lite, I believe someone uploaded all the songs...
