Alessandro MS-1 (new members may want to consider reading this…)
So here is my idea… What I am doing here is a little different but pretty simple. I am offering my Alessandro MS-1’s to a fellow Head-Fi member at no charge. I will consider domestic and international members; shipping cost is the only cost. These Ms-1’s are used, not abused...- mritt400

Break-up tunes
All right guys, I am having a tough time due to a breakup. Pretty tough indeed. In fact, I have been so distraught that I have not been able to even to litsen to music yet, and it has been days. What are the best, or your 'favorite' songs that might have consoled you when you've been... -
Need an easier way to tell the size of a thread
When I searched the forum the oldest results were listed first. Not necessarily a real practical change. And why no right click spell check option? Default subscribe is not great either....oh, and the thread length thing...- mritt400

Deal alert: UE Metro.fi 200 for $20
I jumped on these - got them in today. I figured for ~20 USD they were worth a shot. I am not a big IEM guy (haven't have any decent ones really) but, in my opinion they sound pretty darn good, especially for the $. Seems like they are a good knock-around set. Very pleased even straight out of...- mritt400

Did I match components to my Denon AH-D2000's well?
Determining 'optimal performance' is subjective so I don't think anyone will jump up and say they found the perfect set up that will work for everyone. Rather, you will have to experiment for yourself a bit. What sounds 'optimal' to me, may not be 'optimal' to you. Your set up seems like is o.k...- mritt400

Is this headphone a joke?
I sort of like the 20,000-Leagues-Under-the-Sea look. Not sure I would wear them out however.- mritt400

Westone 1 or...
The Westone 1's may be a bit light on the low end for Rap and R&B. I suppose it depends on your tastes however.- mritt400

Does a good stereo receiver count as a "headphone amp"?
Some are better than others. Your receiver manual may have the HP out specs.- mritt400

Do Denon AH-D2000 leak too much sound?
IMO If there is activity going on in your home e.g. kids, people doing stuff, tv, etc. and not still and quiet (as my home rarley is) you have to be rocking out pretty darn hard to hear the D2000's leaking. If all is quiet, although they are great cans, they are probably not for you.- mritt400
