  Thank you!! Cheers :)     Pretty decent isolation for me - the improved fit because of the cables does help. Not sure how to quantify the isolation for you but it is way better than CK10 for me. I would think it would be pretty comparable to any other 2/3 driver universal fit earphone...

  By harsh do you mean IM02 having too much sibilance at the top end making it too bright on the ears? Just wondering because I would describe IM02 smoother than CK10 by all means - could be just a different choice of words though.

Check out IM02 which I found at very very similar in sound to CK10. I got them recently and don't miss the CK10 anymore!!

Sorry, I don't have them for a direct comparison. From the reviews I read on Altone 200, they look to be very accomplished! Why didn't I choose them over the IM02 for my preference? The reviews put their sound as more dry and slightly recessed mids. I don't find the steel housings particularly...

Sometimes when using these - I wonder if buying a back-up pair, in case AT decide to retire them, would make sense. They are just that good! :)  Is anyone else thinking of doing the same?

Best choice within that budget - but I don't think any pair of IEMs - no matter how well built can take the kind of abuse you are describing (atleast from the sound of it). You do not have to baby them - but just taking the effort of putting them in their (awesome) case and not yanking the cable...

He does not have them listed on the website, but as his shop is based in Tokyo, he does have it in stock..or can easily get it sourced from somewhere. I also purchased my CK10 from him in February...and would highly recommend you to buy from him. He also offers special prices for head-fi.org...

SE535 are definitely better than the q-JAYS..and the difference is well worth the extra $100. To my ears the 535 are slightly less veiled and still manage to bring out the details in the upper part of the range, without any of the q-JAYS sibilance. q-JAYS mids are also quite a lot recessed...
