Tubes are my primary interest. No headphones particularly but having been out of the loop for a while, I'd be interested to hear any newer models. I'd be able to bring a pair of HE-400's and maybe even my vintage Sansui.

I hear a bit of sibilance. Is my Fiio E5 likely the culprit?   It is. I suppose it is to be expected from a part from such a price point though. 

Plugged into my phone they sound nice. I tried plugging them into my new laptop (Lenovo Yoga 13) and was sorely disappointed. I had my Gamma1 and Fiio E5 laying around so I tried using those in combination with my laptop. I'm very impressed with this humble setup.
