Hi does anyone know if its possible to use the Sony NW-A55 with a USB DAC ?

After 5 years my Sony Walkman A17 suddenly stopped working without any warnings. Even when I connect it to a computer nothing shows up on screen. I'm just wondering if its possible to get it fixed. Does Sony still support this player ? I much prefer the old A series Walkman's to new touch...

I would like to hear from people who have listened to both players. Is it worth upgrading to SR15 if you already own the AK70 MK2 ? From what I can see the main advantage the SR15 has over the AK70 MK2 is native DSD support.

Has anyone here who has a ZX300 noticed the battery drain if they leave the player sitting idol ? If I don't use my ZX300 for a few weeks the battery goes down zero. The same thing doesn't happen with my A17 Sony Walkman. I'm just wondering if there is a problem with my ZX300 or if this...

I'm looking at buying an AK70. I can get the AK70 mk1 for 400 pounds but the mk2 costs 600 pounds. Can anyone tell me if the mk2 is worth the extra money ? Is there a night and day difference in sound quality between the two players ?

The battery in my Sony A17 is on its last legs. Does anyone know if its possible to replace the battery ?

I'm looking at buying  the Astell and Kern Jr but one thing that puts me off buying it is the battery life.   I read one review that said the battery life was as low as 9 hours.   Given what Sony is able to do with their DAP's I think its not unreasonable to expect the battery life on a DAP...

As a proud owner of the ZX100 I would like to know how it compares to the ZX2 in terms of sound quality.   Is there much difference between the ZX100 and ZX2 or do they both sound very similar ?   The price of the ZX2 was hard to justify for me so I bought an ZX100 instead.

I have a Sony A17 but I'm thinking of buying a AK Jr.   I'd like to hear from people who own both players.   Which sounds better ?   Is the Ak Jr an upgrade from the Sony A17 ?

I understand the fiio x5 does not support DSD natively. Does anyone know what format resolution it is converted to ?   I'm guessing its put into 24/88 pcm. Would I be right ?

Does anyone know when the Fiio X7 will be released ?   I'm thinking of upgrading my Fiio X3 to and X5 but I heard there is an X7 in the pipeline.   If the X7 is going to released in the next 6 months I'd prefer to wait till then before I upgrade.
