Been using this lately.  

My ZO2 arrived today and I am happy to report that I hear no pop on power on/off and no hiss (max volume, disconnected from source, with UM Miracle). I haven't listened to it long enough to really get some impression of the sound but it has been fun playing around with.

I rockboxed my hm-601 about 2 weeks now and haven't run into any problems yet. The biggest change for me (also the reason why I took it down from the classifieds) is that it properly orders the tracks and browsing is much easier now. I used to browse by sd card because the browse by album/artist...

Ordered one today. I thought my portable rig was finished but there's always room for trying new things. Looking forward to impressions (seeing as how some have shipped already) before I get mine.

Great write-up so far! That Fostex HP-P1 looks really interesting, and I like how it can be used as a digital transport without the need for an extra amp. Looking forward to more comparisons, especially of the customs vs lcd-2.

The um3x sits pretty flush against the ear but I still would not recommend sleeping with them. I've used the re0, hd25, and um3x (non-RC version) so hopefully I can be of some help. Are you sure the ety tips are too big for the um3x? I used both the double and triple ety flange tips with the um3x and they never came off. They also provided the best isolation so I preferred them over complys.

Does anyone else have a problem where new folders that are added aren't displayed in alphabetical order but just added to the end of the list? For the most part my folders are listed alphabetically but the last few albums I've added are not correctly listed and appear at the end after 'Z'. This...

The IE8 doesn't have the "screaming highs" that he likes. As EraserXIV said, it fits the description of the W3. That's based on reading though, as I've used the IE8 but not W3.

Congrats on your purchase and glad you are liking them. I too have compared the Miracle to the IE8 and have similar findings regarding the bass and soundstage.
