There are so many permutations. It is hard to say. Have you stripped it down to the minimum? Just take a streaming source from the computer, USB to DP1. Skip Roon. It can be very cranky. If it is a Roon problem, I found the support at Roon grumpy but very knowledgeable and helpful.
