    Xiaomi Pistons 3.0 Impressions Thread

Add Kev Selection to the list of legitimate vendors. I got them fast (around 10 days) with no issues. They are currently offering Piston III for $22 shipped on Amazon (might have to buy another pair for that price).   I've been listening to them for a few days. I prefer their sound over my...

    Xiaomi Pistons 3.0 Impressions Thread

I ordered Piston 3.0 a few days ago from Kev Selection on Amazon. I read through the buyer reviews there before ordering to make sure they sold genuine Xiaomi products. According to their reviews they do. One thing that did puzzle me though in the seller's description they talk about being U.S...

    The Xiaomi Pistons Thread 2.0

I bought Comply S 500 Active for my Pistons. They fit perfectly and improve the Pistons already excellent sound and I find them much more comfortable than the supplied tips.   Just FYI - everyone add "hightechearphone" on Amazon as a supplier of geniune Pistons.

    fake Miaomi 2 piston?

http://s42.photobucket.com/user/twister6/media/twister6111/xiaomi_pistons_2-09_zps5a60c069.jpg.html Yes, you should've gotten a metal shirt clip in between the rows of tips as shown in this picture I got off the 'net. Mine did.

    fake Miaomi 2 piston?

Based on the price alone it's extremely likely your Pistons are fake. They should've been around $28 au. I bought a pair recently from a seller on Amazon (hightechearphone) for $25 us guaranteed authentic with a one year warranty. I'm blown away by the quality and sound of these inexpensive...

What is the general/average lifespan of iems.?

Well my experience is varied and has nothing to do with price/sound - Nuforce NE 6 - still going strong after two + years as my gym IEM. Nuforce 700x - three months then an earpiece went out, replaced under warranty. Replacements lasted threes months as well. Shame I loved their sound...

Recommend me a pair of EXTREMELY DURABLE in ear earbuds under $100

Durability is one of my biggest concerns. I'm hard on my IEMs. Like you I've grown tired of buying the latest, greatest, "hot" IEM and have one of it's earpieces quit after 3-6 months.  So far my durability champs are Nuforce NE-6. I've used them 6-8 hours a day at work and at the gym for over a...

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Nuforce NE-700X earphones / IEM (non-mic version) - post your thoughts here

I'm  a big fan of Nuforce products. One of the first IEMs I bought were NE-6. I used them for daily for 6-8 months then decided I needed to upgrade. I bought several different IEMs that received solid reviews here in the $50-$80 range. Each of them were either uncomfortable, weren't a major...

Best Cellphone Friendly IEM for Hip Hop, R&B, Metal, Jazz, and Neo Soul $150 or less

Quote: Good recommendation. I just got the 700X (same as the 700M w/out the mic). I'm very impressed. I'm a big fan of Nuforce products. I used Nuforce NE-6's for about a year. They took all the abuse I threw at them and they are still kicking. I kept trying to replace them with more...

Nuforce NE 6 or Brainwavz M2

I've had both. After 4 months the right earpiece quit working on my Visang RO3 (Brainwavz M2). My Nuforce NE 6 are still going strong despite being older and used more. I will admit that R03's had a slightly sound but that doesn't matter much now.

    Decent IEM for $45?

I have several IEMs in this price range -   Head Direct RE2  $29  the good - comfortable, durable cloth covered cables, clean sound. The bad - completely lack bass, mine failed after three months of light use.   Meelecttronic M6 $40 - the good - great sound, nice accessories, durable...

    Visang R03 vs. Hippo VB

ljokerl, the reason I'm interested in these two IEMs is because of your thorough reviews. I just wanted a little real world experience with either one. Durability is a big concern for me. I'm hard on my IEMs so hearing about how they hold up is important. So now I guess I'll just stick with my...

    Visang R03 vs. Hippo VB

For no reason what so ever I'm looking to move up from NE-6 to either the Visang R03 or the Hippo VB. No RE0 suggestions please (I have my reasons) or M11's either (already have them as backups). I'd just like some opinions on these two IEMs. As far as music and source - mostly post grunge and...

How long usually a good pair of IEM going to last???

Good topic and something I've always wondered. I'm incredibly hard on my IEMs. I have the opportunity to wear them at least 6 hours every day. I work in large non temperature controlled greenhouses so my IEMs are routinely exposed to sweat, dirt, and dust. Then there's the occasional unavoidable...

I could be way off here but Soundmagic PL11's look an awful lot like NuForce NE-6's for 3/4 the price......

    Looking for Canalphones/IEMs (sub-$70 USD)

A few recommendations - NuForce NE-6 would be my first choice. Zune Premium Version 2 make a good back up set of IEMs. I also like my Head Direct RE2's but they lack bass without an amp.
