Bringing back from the dead. I have the First Gen Multibit Bifrost and am thinking of upgrading. Did you upgrade?

I have the original Bifrost Multibit DAC. SCH-04 04015091, It doesn't start with an A or B so I believe it is first Gen. I have it hooked up to a streamer playing Hi Res files off of Qobuz and am happy with the sound but I'm wondering with technology advancements should I look into upgrading...

So it looks like the consensus is that the addition of the mic degrades sound quality. Is there any tests that have been done to back this up?

Sorry for the noob question but I'm looking to get a replacement cable for Tin T2's and Blon 3's. I'm confused on 2.5, 3.5, 4.4, balanced, non balanced, etc...I will be using primarily with Android smartphones. Which should I get?

What is late attachment scheme?

I just found a discussion in this thread. It references to get a 75 ohm adapter and an extension. I have Sennheiser HD580's which are 300 ohm impendence so is it accurate in saying that all I have to do is plug these in to activate high impendence mode without further setup?

35 ohms @ 93 db I'm guessing you have to root to initiate high impedence mode which I really don't want to deal with.

Can anyone comment on the volume from a V20 with Hifiman HE4XX? I just listened to this pairing and the amp struggled to get to higher listening volumes.
