I just got a brand new senn hd600 from an online dealer. but I found that the original box and the plastic bag for instruction are both unsealed. is this the way it supposed to be? how can I tell whether it is brand new?

I want to focus on some portable earphone (in-ear preferred) with high impedance (about 100~150ohm) within 200USD. So far, I only find two, Yuin PK1 and Etymotic ER-4. Can someone give me some suggestions?
