The latest Burson amps have crossfeed as well, with varying lvls to choose from. Likely sounds better that this Monolith unit as well. Once this unit is outta production, your best option is the used market.

I would suggest u try the Burson V5i instead. It worked very well across many platforms in my experience, from DACs, soundcards and speaker/headphone amplifiers.

Thanks for the reply. I have read that the DX7 pro saves your settings for each output, does the 788 do so too? I have been unable to find out how the inbuilt EQ of the DX7 pro is like as well. I would assume both units are decently easy to swap between outputs once u get used to it :)

Any chance u tried replacing the op-amp of the Nu audio card with the Sparkos or MUSE op amps found on your STX II? I think the Nu audio's default op amps are holding it back
