Thank you.     Clearly I was imprecise with my words. I was really just referring to "the cable required to get the thing running". I added "power" mainly to differentiate it from the RCA cables, but yes, I suppose "USB cable" would have been the more technically correct term. But anyway...

Well, they're synonymous, insofar as the USB cable is required to power the device. The USB cable is needed to fire up the goods, so to speak.

The USB version. I presumed it would come with a cord connecting the Modi's USB port (a hexagonal shape) to the standard USB port on my computer.

Quick question: Is the Modi supposed to come with a power cord?   I bought a used one from ebay, and it didn't come with a power cord. I'm not sure if this is how all new ones are sold or if the seller forgot to include the power cord.
