Please don't mislead people. It's pure placebo. Let's focus on the E3. 🙂- Zoide

Dan Clark Audio E3 Review: Interview, Measurements, Impressions
Don't worry about cables, they all sound the same (scientifically proven). Much better to spend your money on other components or better yet, music or a comfy chair to listen to it. 😉- Zoide

Thanks for your detailed review! Did you get a chance to compare your DCA E3 to the STAX SR-009 directly, or were you going off of memory? I have a STAX SR-007MK2.9 (spring and blu-tack modded) and an Audeze Maxwell, and am very intrigued by all the great things I'm reading about the DCA E3...- Zoide

Dan Clark Audio E3 Review: Interview, Measurements, Impressions
If you're new to the hobby, please don't fall into the trap of spending crazy money on amps, DACs, and cables. Just buy a transparent DAC and amp ($100-$300 is enough for each), and spend the rest on good headphones and music 😉. The ASR forum has a lot of useful reviews with rigorous measurements.- Zoide

Dan Clark Audio E3 Review: Interview, Measurements, Impressions
Has anyone had a chance to compare the E3 to STAX headphones like the SR-007mk2.9 (spring and blu-tack modded) or the SR-L700 (blu-tack modded)? And for something less "radical": any comparisons of the E3 versus the Audeze Maxwell? (both target Harman and are closed) Thanks- Zoide

Feedback by 'Zoide' on listing 'Stax SR007mkII - Blu-tack modded'
Good comms at first. Well packaged. Ad photos from another headphone (later corrected via PM). Head pad worn out; right ear cup & pad damaged even though he didn't tell me. Said he was tired of my complaints. Never replied to partial refund request.- Zoide

Comment by 'Zoide' on listing 'STAX SRM-323S amplifier'
I'm not one of those people who can describe in a lot of detail how specific frequencies sound different when switching gear, etc. Especially because audio memory is notoriously unreliable, and in this case A/B-ing the amps meant turning one off, disconnecting the cables, connecting them to the...- Zoide

Where exactly is Perun located? I wouldn't want to be aiding Russia by bypassing the economic sanctions.- Zoide

The Stax SR-L500 and SR-L700 Impressions Thread
I use the standard STAX wooden stand and plastic cover. And then I cover the cover with a dark bag to avoid sun damage. 😅- Zoide

The Stax Thread III
Hi, I recently bought a 2-year old SR-007 Mk2 (blu-tack and spring modded), and they just don't seem to fit right. The fabric at the sides of the head pad looks very saggy and loose. See how the pad just falls down with no support if I angle the headphones: And if I put them upside...- Zoide

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)
I wish they would just give us a real date instead of getting our hopes up over and over in vain. FYI @Audeze you need to get this under control. The availability in Europe is a mess... 😩 I'm thinking of canceling my long-running order for an Xbox Maxwell and getting a used PS Maxwell that...- Zoide

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)
@Audeze When will the Maxwell ever be available in Europe? I placed an order with Proshop Netherlands on 13 April, and the expected availability date has kept getting pushed back over and over again. It's now expected between 8-9th June, but the other expected dates came and went...- Zoide
