    Ciircumaural, easydriven, with loudness

I want a headphone, circumaurual with big soundstage. Big hole for ears so they go free. Easy driven avoiding need for amplifier. Like a little loudness on headphones, that is pronounced bass and treble. Price 100 to 200$. Where is it, my queen? Georg

    HD590 good for deep bass?

I have now looked at the graphs. According to them Hd595 should have deeper bass than HD280 Pro. In my ears HD280 Pro have much deeper bass. Must have something to do with open and closed phones. But it is difficult to understand. When the microphone to graph meter doesn't hear deeper bass in...

    HD590 good for deep bass?

I find the bass not deep enough in my Sennheiser HD595, not even with an amp. I like the bass in my Sennheiser HD280, but otherwise I find them a little dry, but good for isolation. I assume that HD650 is a safe choice. But I find them too expensive. I would like th find an open headphone in...

Sound blocking headphones to use while cutting grass?

I use Sennheiser HD 280 for cutting grass. They don't block out all of the motor sound, but I think 80% or so. Enough for me. But they are more expensive than the proce you wanted. Georg

Sennheiser HD595 have no deep bass!

I haven't realised that before I bought HD280. I bought them for better isolation. I enjoyed them more than HD595 although HD595 have a more open sound. At first I didn't understand why I enjoyed HD280 more. Then I heard. There is deep bass in HD280 that I can't hear in HD595. I first heard it...

Which headphone began your headphone journey?

HD414 about 40 years ago. I found them very good. It would be interesting to listen to them today. My guess is that I would find them acceptable. Georg

Musician with hearing loss seeks canalphone recommendations...

In my hearing aids (Widex) there is a position for speech and one for music. In position music you get compensation for all your loss in treble. Then you can have flat frequencies response source. But still, for me it is better without hearing aids and compensation in source. More space in...

Musician with hearing loss seeks canalphone recommendations...

Me too have a hearing loss, most in treble. I have hearing aids, digital type like you. Of course you get better sound with brighter phones like Grados than Sennheiser and still better by canal phones. But that is not the solution, believe me. It is equalisation. Once you have listened to the...
