I am considering the W3, IE-8 and UE Triplefi. Do any retail stores in the Boston area carry these? I am old school and love to see and touch things before buying (HATE buying online). I know, I am a dinosaur. Thanks in advnace for your help.

I appreciate all the responses...jinx, you may be right on there...but, is there any chance they are "defective"? is there a way to test?

I am using the medium size black foam tips...maybe its my expectations...in my car I have a 12" JL subwoofer...don't get me wrong, these sound nice and clear, just seem to be missing bass

no fake (i think) purchased at apple store maybe i am expecting too much..when i read 2 bass subwoofers i guess i expect some "thumping"

I have the opportunity to receive either the UE Triple.fi 10s or the Shure SE530. Primary use wil be with 160GB Ipod Classic. Use for running and working out. What are the pros and cons of each (I hae read other threads, but just looking for quick opinions at this point)? Thanks in advance
