In all honesty I am getting a bit of a hum too and assume it's something on my line. It's not that bothersome so I can easily ignore it.

@kato1995 When I was talking about what the tubes add. I was referring to the warmth. It adds a ton of warmth while the schiit stack is much colder and more clinical to my ears.

Just got mine yesterday and am starting to put it through its paces. I love the warm sound and how it looks. I am really happy with it so far. I admit I've never owned a tube amp before so I'm terrified about breaking the tubes, but I assume they're a bit more robust than I think.

I just pulled the trigger on the wa7 third gen. I wanted a nice looking integrated unit with tubes that I can add an external DAC if i want to. I currently have a bifrost/asgard 3 and look forward to comparing them to the wa7 3rd gen. The nice thing here for me is I can try out the bifrost...

So I don't know for sure but it would be absurd for full size headphones to have a 2.5mm connector. Sorry I can't give you full confirmation

Are you sure it isn't a typo? I'm sure a 3.5 to 1/4" adapter would work.

Bimby with Asgard 2 and Grado GH1's as my primary cans.. I also have some HD650's off screen that I don't really use anymore :D   My PC is the primary music source.. FLAC's,MP3's and Google Play Music..

I asked their tech support guys and they recommended NOT shutting off the bifrost (it'll sound better).. Only shut off the amp..    I'm curious how you all feel about that and what you do with your own equipment (Schiit or not).

Sorry.. I should have done that.. I tend to listen to a lot rock (not too heavy metal) and appreciate good accurate bass (I dont need my head to explode).   Something that fares well for some dance music would be great too.  Is this enough detail ?

I want to keep using my audigy 2 since its fabulous for gaming.. I want the best of both worlds without having to slam two cards in my machine.. Ok, about the ad8620 where is a reasonable spot to get this (online or not) ? (I'm in Toronto)..

How would I run both cards at once? Do I need to run my headphones into both cards?
