    Beyerdynamic DT 150: Bloody Brilliant!

I think the biggest flaw of them is that the padding makes the drivers stay too close to your ears. They made my ears hurt from having constant physical pressure onto them. After half a year or so it got better though, maybe my ears just adjusted and went got less monkey-ears or I just...

    Beyerdynamic DT 150: Bloody Brilliant!

Bought these a few weeks back to replace my srh840's.. loving them so far, far more comfortable than my shures and a lot better soundstage, less boring sound too.   What DAC are recommended for these? Is it possible to make them sound decent with a dac around $100?

They shipped out from singapore last monday and arrived in my country yesterday and arrived to my home today.   If you check your email he sends out a tracking number when the order ships, which you can use on www.singpost.com to check status, and when it arrives in your country your local...

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)

    SRH840 impression

They isolate pretty much the same, the Shure's are a tad better isolated but barely noticeable. And yeah the Shure's sound better, a lot more detailed and tight. The DT770 has a much deeper bass though which might be cool for 'epic' movies with Hans Zimmer-esque soundtracks... but still, the...

    SRH840 impression

listened some more now, compared to my DT770 they feel a lot more fun, they bring out all the aspects of the music and makes it feel like you're more there... if you get what I mean. The beyers seem way more muddy and bloated, though the DT770 80 ohms never were reputable for their sound quality...

LEAK: SHURE SRH240, SRH440, and SRH840 headphones (and pricing) likely to be announced tomorrow! (And mini-review of SRH840.)

The build quality is excellent too, they are pretty heavy and feel very robust. My DT770 feel flimsy compared to the Shures.

    SRH840 impression

I got mine today too, so I can answer some of the comfort questions. The clamping is somewhat hard, but it's not like it hurts you or anything, it's harder then my DT770 Pro for sure, but my DT's have been worn for more then one day so maybe the Shures will loosen up. The fit on the pads...
