KEF M500/M200 Impressions Thread
I note that you opted not to go with KEF, but in the interest of accuracy, the pads are definitely user replaceable. KEF actually sent me a free pair of replacements a year ago, when they showed them out of stock on the website.- zyzyx

I've broken the plugs on a couple of pairs while using them in the gym. Probably my fault but the metal did seem fairly fragile in comparison to the other IEMs I use in the gym.- zyzyx

VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
You probably didn't intend it, but it's a little depressing that you wrote "finally" to describe the fate of an item that didn't even last a year. GR07s just don't have the best build quality. That said, perhaps you have warranty coverage. I've had luck on that, even with unauthorized vendors.- zyzyx

Incredibly comfortable for on-ears. Of course, the flip side is that the fit isn't super tight as with HD-25s etc but it's more than sufficient for my needs.- zyzyx

So one of the pads on my M500s has a fairly significant tear along the side seam. Replacement pads out of stock on official website. Anyone know of any other sources for pads? Pretty unlikely, I imagine :(- zyzyx

Vsonic GR07 MK 2 - Authorized dealer?
Edit - you need to be very persistent to get a replacement set from GateShop. It eventually happened for me, but it took countless emails and over 6 weeks.- zyzyx

32 Ohm impedance and 103 dB sensitivity. The "governor" on the volume - i.e. the compliance with the European noise standards (CENELEC) - might explain things.- zyzyx
