AKG K702 65th Anniversary Edition
For the K701 am very happy with ist openness and airyness. And i do like the quality of the bass, i just think it needs more of it. So I am not very keen on chnaging too much of its character. I dont need it to be a firend to all music cause not all music is that well recorded. When in In...- Zoldar

AKG K702 65th Anniversary Edition
Hi all, Has anyone tried K702 65th Anniversairy pads on a K701. I'm content with it but if I can add some bass punch with the new pads it would be a worthwile tweak. I play wit a Graham Slee Solo Ultra Linear head amp and Sony SCD-555es player or Metrum Octave DAC.- Zoldar

High-rez nirvana from laptop? USB or spdif soundcard?
I recently took the plunge on a simaudio Moon 300D DAC. Very satisfied with the results so far. I'm sure you have...- Zoldar

Tube vs Solid State Amps
Nice topic. Skylab, I have recently taken the plunge into tubed amplification. You mentioned purple haze. See the picture below of my Graaf GM50 (KT90 tubes). Question: should I worry?- Zoldar
