Exynos chipset, so if its the same thing as it is in the SGS2, the DAC for the Note should be one from Yamaha.- Zephyron

The diary entries of a little girl! ~ | ~ Latest memoir: oıpnɐ ןɐuıɟ
Speaker quality? As in headphone out? That's quite a surprise. Never kept up with the modding scene behind the O2x/G2x a lot (am a Sony Ericsson staff using the Droid RAZR in Singapore, lol), but wll definitely have to sniff around for news about it. Maybe like the camera, LG never...- Zephyron

For the record, the Nozomi is Dual Core. That report linked here is false, this here notes that the Nozomi runs on the MSM8660 platform, which is a dual core 1.5GHz chipset: http://www.xperiablog.net/2012/01/06/sony-ericsson-lt26i-nozomi-benchmarked-and-sized-up-against-xperia-arc-s/...- Zephyron

http://vr-zone.com/articles/comex-show-2011-promotions-creative-technology/13369.html The Aurvana IE3 are going down to S$169 [US$139, tax included for you) for a coming Tech Fair down here in Singapore. I'm gonna assume that they're gonna have some demo units on display, so I'm gonna go...- Zephyron

Waah, my VSonic GR07 broke!
Another GR07 sounds like a good idea IMO. Most of the other phones listed sound pretty different unless you fiddle a lot with tip choices.- Zephyron

New Creative Earphones - The Aurvana In-Ear 3
S$199 = 199 Singapore Dollars. At present rates at this time I'm typing, that's US$162.20 inclusive of tax. Its gonna be hard, especially competing with the VSonic GR07 at that price point.- Zephyron

New Creative Earphones - The Aurvana In-Ear 3
Creative's apparently releasing a new set of earphones - The Aurvana 3. The Aurvana 1 got off to a ho-hum start IMO, wasn't impressed by it, but the Aurvana 2 wasn't bad at all, kinda nice and sweet sounding from what I could remember. Kinda curious on how this one's gonna sound like =)...- Zephyron

Project Café (New Nintendo Console) Let’s Speculate Like Mad Men...
Given the Wii-U's size, it's unlikely that the R700 variant in it would be derivated from the HD4770, 4850 or 4870. Would itmagine that it uses a souped up version of the 4600 series, maybe running anywhere between 320-480 Stream Processors like the mainstream GPUs found inside laptops today...- Zephyron

Earsonics sm3 V2
I've managed to try out the V2s. The fit was way better on these ears than V1 was, the shelling was larger than that of the V1. The seal was by far and away better than the V1 as well as the housing sat on these ears perfectly and hhelped the outer layers of the biflange I use sit in place...- Zephyron

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones
Just floored one of my friends with the SM3 today and made a good impression on 2 of the others. The one that got floored... well, might be coaxing him to get a pair of Vsonic GR07 as the SM3s are too steep in price for him =)- Zephyron

miu mr2 pro
Mochan, try punching a hole on the paper filters being used, it should help reduce the shelling resonance at least by a little bit =) I'm gonna try venting them when given the chance though =D- Zephyron
