How about adding wireless options?

I was so excited about the Magni and Modi but now you have upped the stakes! Here is my question I listen to my music out of my Mac mini or Linux box would it be better to by the M/M combo or buy the Asgard 2 with an eye towards buying a bifrost or the Modi later? 

As the title says, Please tell me I am not the only headfier in Anchorage. I would sure love to meet local head fi members.   

My biggest complaints about windows vista was spotty driver support and it is a resource pig win 7 is much faster but of course still driver issues it is a beta but still much better...I would consider win7 as vista done right when it comes to resource utilization if they roll out better driver...

first time in like 3 years I have used windows on a primary machine before win7 was using osX and before that ubuntu it show a lot of promise......

true but I like to tinker and wanted to try out win7 better sound was just a nice gimmee the only downside is I cant get itunes to install but using VLC for now...beta= computer tube rolling

Ha! fixed it..sorta I installed windows 7 beta and the sound is VASTLY improved. I am thinking it was the driver that got put with it because win7 w/o a driver from hp just a generic sounds way better. So when its time to reinstall xp it goes on with no driver! See some times beta is beeta

I just picked up an hp mini note 1000 it has a dual mic/headphones jack. The sound that is produced by this netbook is horrible no bass treble seems thin and veiled the mid has nothing it is easily the worst audio I have heard ever! sadly my Ipods (3gen nano and 4gen ipod color sound way better...

tried having problems since I am running it in a VM on my mac but can say so far BAD UI! very hard to manually import stuff spoiled by itunes I will be getting a net book so will try win7 on it I will report back then

Man I am totally stoked about this I was looking for an entry level DAC that had optical (mac User) with headphone amp to replace an AMC integrated that is a little beat done w issues. Comon tax refund daddy needs a new toy!

I have seen a few cans that included wood in there construction. I have done some instrument building and am intrigued but havnt found anything in my searches that explain why can someone enlighten me to the reasoning or benefits? Resonance ect...do wood cans have a certain sonic signature? Do...
