If you're alright with secondhand goods, try getting the Schiit Mjolnir which I find has excellent pairing with the LCD-2. I waited patiently for mine and searched the forums everyday, eventually got one at SGD420, about £235. All the best!

Kudos to you for writing this review, especially the comparisons with the Chord Mojo. I'm still contemplating whether to trade my Chord Mojo with the iFi micro iDSD BL. What's your take on this exchange? 

  Yes they do. If you're intending to DIY an unbalanced cable, I'd suggest you buy a cheap multimeter and do a continuity test on both ends of the stock cable to confirm the connections.    I did this up, hopefully it helps.      Once you go balanced, you never go back lol. I've a Schiit...

  I recently DIYed a balanced cable for my Audeze and I'm more than happy with the results.    Used a 4-pin XLR termination for the amp end and a Mogami 2893 cable whose size fits nicely.      

@WayTooCrazy Haha I'm working on it. It's my first time building cables, I'm giving a cheap SPC cable a shot first. The braiding process was fun, next up, soldering!   The mogami cable could be my permanent solution after I'm more familiar with the DIY process. 

  I got the Mogami 2893 in the end. The build looks fantastic. Price was reasonable as well. 

  This gives me second thoughts. I've both of the HD6xx and the LCD-2 shipping to my address now and I'm thinking of selling off the HD6xx because I'm under the impression that the LCD-2 is on a different league from the HD6xx. Please correct me if I'm wrong
