still a PC gamer here too, but the current crop of video cards, and their cost.... ouch... max i could afford was a refurbished eVGA 3090TI, which was still expensive.

i havent gotten around to downloading that DLC, i think i may need to : ) been too busy in Battlefield V, with the recent patch to add the anti cheat, the games have been a lot better, enjoyable, and not getting a headshot through a wall is refreshing. lol

for me, i think his word is pretty good.. enough for me to scramble for a V850..... then again, if you have a V800 thats still a damn nice DAC. better than a lot of other DACs that cost a lot more than it.

According to Fried, the different is quite substantial between the V800 and 850 apparently.

Fried did say the V222 is still a very nice option to pair with the V850 DAC. i might see if i can find a v280 on here, or a V281 if the budget can stretch. or just settle for the V222. altho the v280 and 850 aesthetically would look great stacked together.

the v280 is more powerful than the v222, and actually aesthetically looks great stacked with the V850. i can get either. and the v280 is not much more than the v222.
