My review of The Max headphone amplifier by Headroom
Anyone is still using this Headroom THE MAX daily? I put it in my office lab (I do audio/speech related engineering work) and use it very frequently. The build quality is really second to none and it lasted me almost 20 years.- Wilson

Nice Desktop stands (KEF x300a)?
Seems like the bottom 4 mounting screws are VESA pattern 75x75. Therefore I am thinking of using or modifying monitor stands to mount them. Anyone has tried...- Wilson

Removal of the headphone jack : the future or a marketing scheme?
There will be a new audio specification in the future, but it has not been announced at this time. Therefore using the A2DP the available bandwidth for audio is still limited and same as before. Some articles explained the details on these APTX and LDAC marketing claims better, and they are...- Wilson

Finally happy with my AudioEngine A2+
I used to use an AudioEngine connected to my docking, and then have a digital amplifier driving 2 good quality loudspeakers. That was my desktop setup for quite sometime. Then I got tired of all the wires and stuff cluttering around the desk, and I replaced all those with a pair of KEF...- Wilson

Apple ditching 3.5mm jack
Now people are also talking about C type USB on non-Apple products and no more traditional audio jack. I am sure there will be many conversion products, but it is just annoying to think about all my headphones at home going through a conversion device.- Wilson
