[FiiO M6] Portable High-Resolution Lossless Music Player,Embracing A Wireless Future
Thanks again for all your help. I had a hard time getting my laptop to see the M6 internal and SD storage. Only after removing the white list app limitations could I 'see' the M6's storage. So that was kind of weird. Anyway, all working fine now, and the Musicolet player is pretty cool.- weekendtoy

[FiiO M6] Portable High-Resolution Lossless Music Player,Embracing A Wireless Future
Thank you for the very generous reply and suggestion. I'm kind of a noob at this and not really understanding what sideloading a music app is. I did a quick google search to no avail. Please note, my CD collection is ripped to FLAC if that matters in what app I should try.- weekendtoy

[FiiO M6] Portable High-Resolution Lossless Music Player,Embracing A Wireless Future
Hi all, My previous player was/is a FiiO X3ii I insert a 256 card that works in the X3 into the M6. The M6 instantly recognizes the card (with no scanning). If I go to File Management, I can see all the songs. I can also select the SD card in File Management and see the artists and their...- weekendtoy

What kind of hardware are folks using to mount their Fiio to say a bicycle handlebar or dashboard of a boat. Ideally it would have both a clamp for a handlebar and accept say a 1/4 mounting screw. I have an Altec Lansing Omni Jacket (waterproof) portable speaker that I plan on using in...- weekendtoy

I had the DT880 (600ohm) / Little Dot MKiii combo for several years, the sound was heavenly. I sold the Little Dot to fund the purchase an an Oppo 105 with it's own dedicated headphone amp. I regretted it immeadiately...- weekendtoy

Thanks everyone for your input on the folder management. I'll have to think hard about either doing A-C, D-I, etc or by genre Metal, Rock, Pop, etc... I'm leaning towards managing by genre as often I'm more in the mood for something rather than a specific artist. I suppose next will...- weekendtoy

Hi all, So I'm about 50 albums into uploading my CD collection. I was wondering how folks are setting up their folders? Right now I have each artist as their own folder and then each album(s) from that artist as sub folders. Well when using 'Browse Folders' on the FiiO I get basically...- weekendtoy

I'll chime in as well, I have no issues with the treble on my DT880's 600ohm. At least nothing I can discern. I use an Oppo 105, stereo outs to a Little Dot MK III.- weekendtoy

Hi all, This is my first portable player since a Sony Discman from the early 90's. So yes, it's been awhile and the learning curve has been a bit steep and somewhat daunting. The daunting part is that at the same time, I'm uploading my CD collection to FLAC using Foobar2000. ...- weekendtoy

I bring mine to work once in awhile (like today) when there are few people in the office. They don't sound the best played through the work computer but still better then the Kracko speakers.- weekendtoy
