20 W is all you need.  Should be able to drive the headphones fine.  look up the service manual from hifiengine, and check DC offset.  give it a try to see if you like the sounds,

Anyone knows how to get apple remote to work with Decibel?  I've tried the patch or plugins posted on computer audiophile, but it did work.  The music would start, and then stop after 3 seconds or so.

Start with the headphones.  Get the best (size, comfort, sounds) one can afford.  Then, figure out the amp and the source (or dac).  I don't think you should get a tube amp for movies, and TV.  I'm sure Senns 650 is prob better for your listening habit.  I don't think any headphones can give...
