You think the IE8's has lacking bass? If the IE80s fixed some of the bass issues of the IE8's, then I probably wouldn't like them as I find the IE80s a bit bass heavy enough as it is to my ears.

I got the IE80 today. So far, pretty good. Needs to open up a bit more and I found a good seal. I only have had them burned it for about 3 hours so still too early to judge. If it gets close to the HD650 signature I'll be very happy.

Yeah... as much as I love the Shure sound, I'd rather have my IEM has a signature closer to the HD650. Plus the price I got it it's hard to beat.

I just ordered these a few days ago, and I got them for around $265 from Amazon Italy (sold by and shipped from Amazon Italy themselves). Should be here Wednesday... very excited, as I've read that the sound signature is close to the HD650's. I have the Shure SE215, but was not willing to pay...

I think I'm going to get the Violectric HPA V200, and either pair it up with the DACmini or get the USB option. 

From the reviews I've read of the DACmini, they've said that they had no problems driving the HD 800's.. so I'll probably just stick with the DACmini. Just need to save up for the 800's now.
