HeadRoom Portable Micro Amp power supply specs?

The thing is, I live in Norway, so shipping anything to/from the US not really an option. I'll try to contact headphones.com. What I need first of all is the specs of the charger. If the battery fails, I'll find a substitute and replace it myself

HeadRoom Portable Micro Amp power supply specs?

So, I scored this at a local fleamarket today for $15 (!!!). It's the DAC version and it came with a HeadRoom sleeve/stand and, surprisingly, a charged battery. Works perfectly :) However the power supply is missing. It needs 9V, but does anyone know the amperage?

Pad upgrades for Stax SR-X mk3?

Back in the good old days I ended up with two pairs of SR-X Mk3's, but only bought pads for the nicest pair (I was young, dumb and poor). So now I have this fully functional pair with really, really tattered pads laying there just doing nothing. A disgrace! Since the pads now are quite...

    Identify these Sennheisers? (Solved)

You probably wouldn't like the postage from Norway... But it is a nice deal. Someone will enjoy them, for sure.

    Identify these Sennheisers? (Solved)

What are these? I can't find the exact model. But they're $25!

Stax SRM-1/Mk2 100v to 240v conversion, is this correct?

This one came without the plug (Japanese domestic version), so unfortunately the wire swapping is required. Don't worry about the ground wire, it's just loosened so I could tilt the panel for a clearer pic ;)

    The Stax Thread III

Can any of you guys give me a hand here? https://www.head-fi.org/threads/stax-srm-1-mk2-100v-to-240v-conversion-is-this-correct.872626/ I didn't want to clutter up the discussion here with such a mundane question, but it seems like the Stax illuminati doesn't bother much with the rest of the...

Stax SRM-1/Mk2 100v to 240v conversion, is this correct?

I've been running my 100v SRM-1/Mk2 with an adapter, but I'd like to convert it to 240v. So I just move jumper A from the brown cable to the the blue, jumper B from the transformer cable to the purple one, and I'm done?

Picking up a pair of vintage Sony MDR-CD6's, can anyone give me some info/advice?

So you hang out over at Audiokarma, too :) That's my main forum of choice, as I'm mostly into 70's Japanese turntables, separates, and such.. But I occasionally dip into the headphone forums, too. Actually, it was modding of my old PortaPros that inspired me to take an extra close look at the...

Picking up a pair of vintage Sony MDR-CD6's, can anyone give me some info/advice?

Well, the build quality is definately not an issue! Apart from the pads, everything is in very good condition, and looks like the headphones are determined to stay that way.   So far I've only tried them a little with my ol' rockboxed Sansa Clip+, and the lack of sealing is very noticable...

Picking up a pair of vintage Sony MDR-CD6's, can anyone give me some info/advice?

So, I'm picking up a pair of Sony MDR-CD6's in good condition tomorrow.   The earpads obviously need replacement, so some pointers on what to get would be appreciated.   But what am I actually getting? There's very little info on the web, except that judging by eBay prices, they seem quite...

    Calling All "Vintage" Integrated/Receiver Owners

Quote: I got the SAE from the Norwegian version of Craigslist, for about $250 incl. shipping, with a dead channel (fixed now). They did sell SAE in Norway, but units are very rare. I think I've seen 2-3 components for sale over a 7-8 year period. Never seen another 2600 for sale. I'll...

    Calling All "Vintage" Integrated/Receiver Owners

I'm not that into receivers, but I love vintage amps, especially separates. Here's some of my stuff:   Harman/Kardon 730   Accuphase E-202 with the optional A-3 wood cabinet   Kenwood Supreme 700C Accuphase C-222 Accuphase C-200X   Kenwood Supreme 700M Accuphase P-20 SAE...

    Proper glue for earbuds

I'd use a a flexible PVA glue, like Elmer's. You should be able to easily scrape off any residue with your fingernails. Don't use superglue, it becomes brittle when it dries.
