The New HD 560S: Linear Acoustics at a Breakthrough Value
Ah, and single sided cable would be also desirable, and I see that Elex does not have one (have two :) )- viperxp

The New HD 560S: Linear Acoustics at a Breakthrough Value
What would be a headphone that might be more expensive, but better in any way than 560S , and not require an amp, and have a decent built, and not uggly? I am interested in analytic sound, as close to Hartman as possible. It's not 600,650,660S,800. So ? And ... I haven't seen comparison to...- viperxp

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
You are simply misleading. There are buttons and the headphones are foldable (just not in the way of the older models).- viperxp

The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote
I have two questions: 1 - What would be a good alternative to this guy? I would like a more compact form factor, Bluetooth and at least the same power output. 2 - Will there be a difference in sound between a good DAP and a good mobile phone, when played over bluetooth? The more I think about...- viperxp

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Went from the wonderful PX to Bose. Sound-vise - the PX surely beat the Bose's, but can't say the same about comfort, with those Bose's you hardly know you have them on. Angry at BW engineers, seems that they chose design over functionality, if those ear cups would have been 5 mm wider and 5 mm...- viperxp

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Thanks for that case suggestion. The problem is that the case will not solve the comfort issues. Well need to think what's more important - SQ+overall refinement or comfort + better ANC.- viperxp

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Hi guys, After owning those amazing headphones for about two weeks, and flying with them from Paris to Chile, please see my impressions. It's interesting how my opinion changes over the time. Start: I was looking for ANC phones, and started by comparing Bose to the Sony (by Bose I mean QC35 II...- viperxp

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Anyway, it seems that i will get those second-hand PX's. Will give them about a week of listening, and write a more detailed review. The current owner is selling because of comfort issues, he felt that the headphones do not feel great when he bought them, and thought that he and/or the phones...- viperxp

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Hi, let me clarify 1. The arms that hold the earpieces are not very thick, they could be thicker. 2. The arms, when they rotate - rotate thooth but I would expect to get more resistance from them. 3. Simple thought. What headphones to your opinion would break if you would unfortunately sit on...- viperxp

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Well, had a short (about 30 min) session with those PX's and here are some impressions: Comfort - I prepared for the worst, but.. I did not feel any discomfort, not from the earpads and not from excessive clamping force, they felt just right. I would be happy if the earcups would have been a...- viperxp

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
I listened to P7 once, but was scared off their price so there was no critical listening. Wow, what you wrote suits my needs greatly, because otherwise perfect Bose don't sound good to my ears in the upper end (when in active mode), and from what I understand those PX's are much better...- viperxp
