Would you be interested in selling the cups only (without veneer, ball joints, pads, etc.), as a "bare bones" type kit?  I think it would be great for those on a budget or those who would like to build and customize their own units.  

with the closed vents and 840 pads how much do these leak?  I'm looking for a new set of closed 'phones and these sound like a fun project but I need something that isn't a leak monster like the denon 2000.

thanks for the info on the T20RP.  I'm really thinking hard about grabbing a set of the T20's if they are indeed the same as the T50RP.  Saving a few bucks is always motivation for me.

yeah, looks like they are back in stock at GD.     This is probably the wrong place to ask about this but does anyone have thoughts on the FA-003 vs the denon AHD2000?  The denons are on sale for >$200 right now.  With shipping to the states it makes the FA-003 the same price.  Has anyone...
