Vocals seem louder on my left ear
I doubt it is my equipment since even if I reverse my phones I still at least imagine that I hear the vocals (easiest to detect) more on my left side. I havent had time to try a mono test sound but I will soon, any link to where I can find one?- Vain

Vocals seem louder on my left ear
Hi! As the topic says I think that the vocals seem louder on my left ear, I have tried several phones and also reversed them but with the same results. So I figured I might just have better hearing on my left ear but then I asked my wife and she also thought the left side was louder so that got...- Vain

Little Dot MKIII Tube Rolling
I just bought a new pair of tubes, Mullard M8161 and I noticed that the vocals are much stronger (louder?) on the left side. I tried to switch the tubes around but no difference and I did remember to move the pins to EF92. Is this something that evens out as they burn in or is something wrong?- Vain

Nuforce Icon HDP as DAC only, which volume?
Hey! I have searched the forums but haven't found an answer. I am connecting my iMac -> Optical -> Nuforce -> RCA out -> LD Mk III and am wondering if I am supposed to max the volume on the HDP or control it from there since it doesn't have a fixed output.- Vain

Little Dot MKIII Tube Rolling
Hey all! I am really sorry if this has been answered but there is 158 pages to go through, easy to miss some info! I have a pair of Ultrasone Pro 900 and am wondering if anyone have tested which tubes works good with them? They can be a bit harsh on the treble and have somewhat recessed...- Vain

Nuforce Icon HDP vs Little Dot Mk III vs ?
I went with the Mk III because it feels I get more for my money and it also means I can afford a pair of Denon AH-D7000 in the near future.- Vain

Nuforce Icon HDP vs Little Dot Mk III vs ?
I know the Nuforce isnt the greatest amp out there but it is small and I heard it's DAC is really good for the money so I bought it with that in mind knowing I would replace the Amp part pretty soon. I want to spend at most 300 on a new amp, so with that in mind both of those options you gave is...- Vain

Nuforce Icon HDP vs Little Dot Mk III vs ?
Hey! I have a a pair of Ultrasone Pro 900 (partly Kees modded) that I currently drive with a Nuforce Icon HDP. The problem is that I find the sound just a tad bit too bright (harsh, s:es can be a bit painful depending on the song) and I have understood that both the phones and the Nuforce is a...- Vain

Ultrasone Pro 900, thin sound?
I am still checking in from time to time yes =) They have burned in for roughly 70 hours now and I have to say it has gotten better! I haven't tried them with anything else than the HDP yet since I am burning them both in but I have a Denon reciever that I will try and I'll post what I find.- Vain

Ultrasone Pro 900, thin sound?
Doubtful since I have opened them, but I will let them burn in for another 100 - 150 hours and then see, I can just EQ them in the worst case scenario =)- Vain

Ultrasone Pro 900, thin sound?
I have modded them and I still think they have a touch of sibilance. Do you think a warmer amp connected to the Icon would make a difference and in that case which amp would you suggest?- Vain

Ultrasone Pro 900, thin sound?
Maybe a lack of body, a bit of sibilance and a touch of shrillness (not alot) is a better explanation. I will try to put a bit of felt in them, but I also want them to be at least almost completely burned in before. How do I open them, just pull off the ear pads (sorry, english isnt my native...- Vain

Ultrasone Pro 900, thin sound?
I know but a week will give an indication of what they will sound like when fully burned in, also as far as I know Kees mod wont affect the thin sound?- Vain
