Just as another point of reference, I didn't feel as if the alpha pads changed the sound signature much besides making the sound stage sound a bit more open and the bass a bit more present (I was getting a very bad seal before alphas). I also bent my headband so it conforms to my head better...

Quick question: anyone else notice if one hinge that pivots earcups is considerably tighter/looser than other? It's bothering me on mine.
