Does anyone know if these would benefit enough from modding them with the moon audio blue dragon v3 to warrant the price of having it done?

I just ordered these tonight from Amazon to replace the AKG K451s I bought and returned immediately (thanks What Hifi).  Those were the first headphones I ever bought, waaaaay to bass-y and muddled, I don't listen to dubstep.  I am going to us these as portable, so I need a portable amp to use...
