What's so good about metal?
Usually I don't like metal at all. Recently though I stumbled upon Mastodon's album Blood Mountain. I didn't like it at first but after a couple of listens it really started growing on me and I found it very interesting. Every song on that record is quite different and involving. Afterwards, I... -

Suggestions for Relaxing Electronica
Try Scateren by Esem. It is very good, especially for being free to download. One of my favorite albums I heard last year. -

How did you damaged your hearing?
I think I might have damaged my ears a bit more with my recent K601 listening sessions. My ears rang even after low volume listening. I thought they just might be getting used to the sound, but apparently not. My ears now ring very easily after every listening session. Speakers or headphones...- tuhnu

Theoretical : Would you want an "audiophile eardrum replacement" surgery?
I would pay a good amount (not 100K though) if you could improve my hearing in the right ear back to the same level with the left.- tuhnu

Gamer and an audiophile: what should I get?
Note that if you use programs like Ventrilo or Teamspeak, you can't use a mic while using the digital out from X-Fi XM. Mic (and line) in is in the same jack, named FlexiJack. Of course, an USB microphone would still be usable.- tuhnu

Foobar help!
I don't want to create a new thread for this, so here goes: Where can I find the most recent version of foo_cdda.dll? The Wiki pages list it, but behind the download link is only foo_burninate. Googling didn't give any download links. If someone could host a download, I would be very happy.- tuhnu

my inner ear vibrates!!
I had the same sensation with AKG K601. The mids were too strong for my ears. Grados are known to be bright, but I don't know about HD280. Try other headphones and see if the problem persists?- tuhnu
