I have 840 pads on right now but they have a tendency to slip off.  The leather on the ear-pad "flange" is pretty soft + the outer plastic cup of the Fostex is angled.  So it doesn't grab very well.  Is there anything to use to help the 840 ear-pad grab the ear cup better?  Something tacky?  ...

Sounds like they clamp lightly, or average?  Unlike most, I prefer solid clamping so they don't fall off my head.  If I take the Fostex T50RP's for example, I actually bent the headband for a more solid clamp which I would say....is 8 out of 10.  What would you give these?

What's the clamping pressure like with the HDH-50's?  Isolation?

Curious if anyone knows the spec's on the small screws that hold the driver to the cup.  They seem like they would strip real easy at the Phillips head if you aren't too careful.  They look to be too small for what's stocked at my hardware store, but you never know.   I'm new to modding these...
