Are there better IEMs than the ER4P for classical?
Don't want to hijack the thread, but there are too many threads about "looking for IEMs..." and the TC has the same taste as me. Can someone recommend me in ears that have the same stuff that the OP wants but $100-150?- true blue

A fun, overall great sounding IEM with great details, large soundstage, and precise instrument separation? $200 budget
Hey tsarn06, do you find the soundstage/separation on the MTPG displaced/odd?- true blue

Hehe, no, I'm not confused. Thanks for giving your thoughts about it, james444. I was basing my decision of joker's post. You two seem to have different opinions about it. joker calls them balanced and neutral, says the soundstage is above average with better depth than the RE0 and PFE. Also...- true blue

Quote: Heck, you might just want to give them a try anyways to see if the sound stage aspect is something you even care enough about to worry about over other aspects. Oh, no, I really do care about the soundstage, I would say it's my #1 concern, actually. Anyway, thanks everyone...- true blue

Trying to remember it as best I can, almost 2 years since I last had them. I might be a bit off about what I tell you. Bass seemed to overpower the rest of the spectrum a bit too much, and it was a bit too punchy/in-your-face. But it was somewhat tight, which was good. The mids were...- true blue

I found the C551's soundstage to be on the small side and the locational cues were pretty general. I prefer a soundstage that's like sitting in the 4th row at a concert, somewhat in-your-face. The width/depth/height big enough so that everything sounds clearly spaced apart. And I like very...- true blue

Everyone, thanks for all of the discussion. I'm surprised that my thread even went past a page! I don't think the TF10 is an option, they'll probably be uncomfortable for sleeping. I used to have a pair of C551's, which are smaller, and they weren't exactly optimal for sleeping. mvw2...- true blue

Sorry, didn't want to seem like I wasn't listening to your advice. I always check to see if something is available before reading up on it. Anyway, read ClieOS' review, very positive. So far, I have these and the PR1 in mind. More suggestions, please! Remember, my budget is $150.- true blue

Can't find the SE777s anywhere. Turbine sort of seems like what I'm looking for, but I heard the ATH-CKS70 completely outclasses them. I don't think the TF10s will be too comfortable for me. Anyone have an opinion about the PL50s?- true blue
