Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I really wanted to like these! And I had the same issue with charging because the tips I was using were too large for the charging ports (I assume). So unless I really got them in there good and made sure they were both charging I often would experience one bud being left uncharged. Sadly...

At this point in time, is there any TWS that beats the Noble Mystique purely on sound quality? I'm not counting the newest Noble TWS offering.

I've used this many times. The only reason I ever uninstall it is because the widget is a little wonky sometimes and I'm a big widget guy. But yeah, it does sound better than most to me.

Good to know. Thanks for your opinion. I stream Deezer on my home stereo receiver and am pretty happy with it. I suppose I should have mentioned I was more asking about playing local files on an actual app rather than using a streaming service.

This is 'slightly' off topic, but I'd love to know which music player app you use to listen to your tunes via TWS. Currently I'm using Musicolet but I've been through so many of them: Neutron, USB Audio Player Pro, PowerAmp, Gone Mad Music Player and many others. Just wondering. Thanks.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Well, after further listening I have decided to return my Cambridge Audio M100s. Why? I have to agree with the sentiment of a few people here that "something is missing". And for me that something is a warmth. Something in the middle. The bass is there and I like what it does. The treble is...

I can see how it might. But I thought I should chime in and say that I've had zero issues with mine and have been enjoying the experience with them thus far.

I received my Cambridge M100s yesterday. I'm really digging them so far. I A/B'd them with my B&O EX last night I was pleasantly surprised with how the M100s sounded in comparison (especially for the price). They fit my ears perfectly. I did replace the sleeves for some SednaEarfit Max that I...

    SONY NW-ZX500

I'm not sure what the fix is but you could try holding down the power button and volume down for roughly 5-7 seconds and see if you can get to a recovery screen... since it is an Android OS. Let me know if that works or else I'll try to think of something else.

    SONY NW-ZX500

Oh, I didn't realize it was just settings changes. I thought it was more like jailbreaking the device in order to get a new OS on there. I'll ty those tweaks. Thanks a lot!

    SONY NW-ZX500

I looked at it once but I didn't see this model so I gave up, haha. I'll take a another look. I also didn't really want to break anything, haha. I can wait and see what the M11 plus comes down to. The Shanling is only $183 on Amazon.

    SONY NW-ZX500

I like the Sony interface. It's the Android operating system that makes the DAP so slow. Like I said, I wish I could just update it. I've considered the Shanling many times. That FiiO that you mentioned is like $650, haha. That's a lot of money!

    SONY NW-ZX500

I appreciate that perspective. I really do. I have no problem with the form-factor of the DAP. I also really do enjoy the sound that I get from it. It's just that the interface is so clunky to use - and I'm an Android user. I like Android. But this old OS is pretty crappy. I just wish I could...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Oh it's okay. It's an interesting conversation nonetheless. I think my question has been answered, yeah. Basically, if I'm going through my Pixel via TWS earphones the only thing that can really change the sound is a) EQing the phones or b) dependent upon the codec being used. Everything else is...
