Hi sorry if this is not the right place to post. I bought this SRM-313 on Yahoo Japan and was wondering if I need/ should or should not convert the voltage to 100 Volts (I currently live in the US). using a Yulong DA8 balanced pretty good (what a soundstage!!) somehow a little too harsh IMHO so interested in a dedicated balanced amp with another DAC, Matrix Quattro for example.- TominJapan

I had the same feeling when I listened to a SR-307 connected to two different amps, there is an audible difference... yet I opted for the cheaper 2170 combo to start with. I read somewhere else that some people do not hear any difference between amps which I could not really believe Which amp...- TominJapan

AKG K270 Studio upgrade/mods?
just recieved my AKG270 playback, bought them for 25€... and I love them! if you don't like the veiled and blurred bass HD650 you should try a Sennheiser HD540..:)- TominJapan

Many thanks this is what I guessed, I found out what the orginal fuse is, it is a Japanese NSF ECR fuse, 1.5A 125V 4.6x16mm . Already ordered a new PSU and 250V1.5A 5x20mm fuses and a fuseholder. Is it Ok to cut off the pigtails close to the fuse but keep the existing pigtails in place and...- TominJapan

Thanks yes I know, but I bought in Japan where I do not live anymore just going thee for business trips nowadays and I know they'll tell me I blew it up....
