* Focus Thron 27R 3.0. An amazing e-bike. It provides a gentle push on those days when the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
* Rocky Mountain hard-tail 29er bike. I'll never make the tour de France but it is awesome being out and enjoying being a big kid.
Earsonics S-EM6 (For me a large investment however it's sadly not engaging).
Audio Technica ATH-W3000ANV (My goto phone for late night listening).
FAD Piano Forte VIII (A little nervous about how fragile the cable looks so it usually stays in its box).
Grado SR125 (I resurrect these occasionally but for me they are a too bright).
RHA T10i (Although 1/4 of the cost I much prefer these over the S-EM6).
Rock It Sounds R-50 (For places and people where the XBA-40s just look too weird).
Sony XBA-40 (Nice. Lower end oomph that I was missing from the R-50s. Electronica is awesome on these).
Stax SR-007 Mk1 (Not much use at the moment. The Stax amp is a little under powered for these but I really need to look seriously at getting a better source).
Thunderpants (These sound fine and look the business).
Etymotic ER4P (Broken cable so gently resting in its container.)
Yamaha EPH-100 (Left driver gave up the ghost. Sadly missed.)
JVC HAS400B (Cheap as chips and sounded surprisingly good for the price.)
Headphone Amp Inventory:
Project Ember. Neat little hybrid amp with DIY roots.
Stax SRM-1/Mk-2 PP
Gone and Forgotten
Meier Audio Corda Aria (headphone amplifier and USB DAC). Although I owned this for years it was barely adequate.
Hifiman HM-901 with IEM card (With the S-EM6 It's just okay. With the RHA T10i it sounds great).
Super GEEK portable DAC & headphone amp (Kickstarter project). This little fellow will support high res formats like DSD & DXD.
GEEK Pulse (Indiegogo project - desktop version).
Blue Jean Cables for desktop nearfield speakers.
Other Audio Equipment:
Anthem Integrated 225 SS amplifier.
Osborn Eclipse speakers (My daughter is enjoying these now).
Shahinian Obelisk speakers.
Note: taking a break from headphones and trying desktop nearfield listening with some quality gear.
Progressive Rock, Chill-out & downtempo electronic styles, chamber music / string quartets, classical guitar, ukulele music, minimalism (e.g. Steve Reich). My music horizons are constantly expanded by my 2 daughters whose tastes range from gangster rap, various forms of house / dj dance styles to eclectic and obscure bands - the more unknown the better.
